I have one of those faces where, if I’m not smiling, I appear to be angry or sad. That’s because the ends of my mouth turn downward. I can’t help it. It’s the way I’m made.

When Good Backs Go Bad
My back when out a couple weeks ago. Where it went, I’m not sure. But it’s out and it isn’t in a big hurry to come back.
I’ve been lifting more than usual lately and not the beneficial kind of lifting, like at the gym. No, I’m lifting gargantuan wired cages and cat traps for our nonprofit cat rescue, Marin Friends of Ferals. (Yes, it’s a shameless plug.)

What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger (Yeah, Right)
As promised in last week’s blog, I have now included Pilates classes in my mission to get into shape, whatever that may mean.
In my case, it means getting rid of my Kangaroo pouch, developing long-lost muscles and eliminating about a million cellulite cells. (They don’t call me thunder thighs for nothin’, you know.)
